Workstation
A Workstation is an area along the path of the conveyor.
This is where work is performed on the product being
carried on the conveyor.
A workstation is a position, on the conveyor, where the cart is disengaged from the conveyor, for a predetermined time, so that work can be preformed on the product. This allows the product to come to you and saves time and energy. No having to walk with the conveyor so that work can be preformed. |
