The RSI Anti Backup, with backup rail, allows for the last cart in an accumulation area to fully dis-engage from the  conveyor. Normally the last cart in an accumulation will rock or surge. The anti backup performs the function of allowing the cart to only move in one direction making for a totally smooth operation.
